Inspired by his newly inherited gramophone, Ivan Hansen’s Posthumous Works is a meditation on life, death, and the inevitability of the unknown. Join Ivan as he takes us on a comic, compelling and life-affirming ride, peddling through childhood memories and the complexities of saying goodbye.

Posthumous Works received generous support from The Danish Arts Council and The Danish Embassy in London. It previewed at the Birmingham European Festival 2010, where is won the Best Male Performer Award, and premeired at the mac (Midlands Arts Center) in Birmingham in 2011. It subsequently toured to the Masca Festival in Bucharest and to The Edinburgh International Fringe Festival in collaboration with The Danish Cultural Institue and Tangram Theatre in London. ringe
